Sophia is a sophomore at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology with a passion for both STEM and the arts.

Music gives her a creative outlet, a way to relieve stress, and a chance to express herself beyond academics. She enjoys listening to pop music, singing, and playing the harp at the end of a long day.

Sophia studies harp with Adriana Horne, principal harpist of the National Symphony Orchestra. She is a symphonic harpist with the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras (AYPO) and also performs as part of a harp ensemble.
