Madison Bae is an accomplished young violinist and chamber musician based in Virginia. She began her violin studies at age eight and currently trains under Mr. Ko Sugiyama. Inspired by her older brother’s orchestral performances, Madison has grown into a passionate performer and ensemble leader.

She currently serves as Assistant Concertmaster of the Freedom High School Orchestra and has been selected for the 2025 All-Virginia State Orchestra and the 2024 Regional Orchestra. Her previous leadership roles include Concertmaster of J. Michael Lunsford Middle School and the 2023 Regional Orchestra, as well as Assistant Principal of the 2023 Loudoun All-County District Orchestra.

In addition to her musical pursuits, Madison is actively involved in her community. She has served as a teacher’s assistant at her church since sixth grade and regularly performs with the church choir. She is a board member of Music for All (MFA), led by Dr. Joo, and contributes as both a performer and visual art designer for community concerts at venues such as Brightview Senior Living and Inova Fair Oaks Hospital.

Madison is also the founder and president of the Chamber Music Club at Freedom High School, where she fosters ensemble collaboration and musical growth among her peers.

Outside of music, Madison enjoys cooking, sewing, gaming, and spending time with friends—balancing her artistic discipline with creativity and connection.
